The Family

The name Clasen came to Hiddestorf in 1963 with the marriage of Juergen Clasen and Beate Meyer. Coming from an old horse breeding family in Neddenaverbergen, he started the breeding program on the farm with a mare he got as a wedding present from his father. He also developed the farm in order to make an income for the family in the future. Two sons were born, Joerg and Harm , who were both young riders. .

After studying and practice in agriculture in GB as well as in the US Joerg is now running the farm together with his wife Isabel, also an active rider. She studied agriculture at the University of Göttingen.

Let`s see how the next generation, 15 year old son Frederik and 11 year old daughter Florentine, like farming. See the photo above where Flo won her first ribbon at a local horse show! Both are expecting the new born foals with a heartbeat and wellcome them (nearly) every day with a hug :
